Today is not Monday & your new favorite momma-links.

I'm glad pictures don't tell the whole truth because I'd much rather remember yesterday as being full of Fairyfetti cupcakes and swinging at the park on the warmest day all year, instead of some unrelenting, medieval test of every mothering skill I possess {and lack}.

In contrast, today has been off-the-charts-amazing. I can't get enough of these two. Seriously, I keep biting their shoulders and squeezing fat rolls and kissing necks. {At what point did that sentence get weird? It was the biting, wasn't it?} Lucy just introduced herself to an imaginary person {animal? ninja?} with the following introduction, "Hi. Oh, no, I'm not Goldilocks, I'm Lucy Rowley. And I'm very tough." That's my girl. Even better was her response to my asking her what her biggest fear is, "Someone cracking an egg on my head."

To celebrate today not being Monday, I want to share some fun links I've come across {and you may have already too} on Pinterest. Most include some form of a list, also known as the only word that necessitates an automatic, mental roof-raising.
  • I can't wait to print off this list of the 100 Greatest Books for Children and start marking them off.
  • This post on family camping has everything on it you'll need for a family-friendly adventure.
  • Trying to revamp the budget? This family of six living on less than $28,000 a year gives helpful budgeting tips. {No, I will not be giving up my "10 p.m. munchies", but I will give up saying the word "munchies" ever again starting...now.}
  • Yes! A book on traveling with babies up to pre-school age children! Let the over-planning but under-follow-thru games begin.
  • A very detailed tutorial on making a cute, quiet book for your kids.
  • I think making this alphabet book would be even more fun than reading it!
  • This lady shares darling patterns she's made for free. I almost feel guilty there are so many.
 Happy not-Monday!

Love that book list. Just pinned it :) And I know what you mean about all the biting and squeezing - kids are too dang irresistible sometimes!

I pinned the book list as well and I'm making it my goal to read all of them as part of 30 things while I'm 30.
